South American Airline little known adds new route to Washington, DC, its second American city
Washington area travelers, DC will have a new option for South America from November.
Bolivian of aviationThe state of Bolivia of state -owned Bolivia, will be launched twice a week from its base of countries of origin at the Viru Viru International Airport (VVI) in Santa Cruz to the Dulles International Airport in Washington (IAD) with a stop at the Tocumen International Airport in the city of Panama (PTY) November 4.
Bolivian will fly a Boeing 737-800 on the route.

Washington is the home of the largest Bolivian population in the United States, said Brian D’Amico, director of Airlines Business Development in the Washington Airports Metropolitan Authority, which operates both Dulles and the Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA).
The city is the second American destination in Bolivian after Miami International Airport (MIA), which serves both without stopping from VIV and through PTY.

Travelers can only book flights for the entire route, Washington to Santa Cruz and back, and not between Washington and Panama City. He 4.002 miles away Between VIV and IAD, the typical range of 737-800 would exceed, although IAD-PTy and VVI-PTIY legs can easily cover.
The airline has limited associations with Avianca and Iberia. However, none lists a link with the Bolivian loyalty program, Raise.
Bolivian operates 24 aircraft, according to the Flightradar Flight tracking website24. The fleet includes three Airbus A330 that the airline uses for flights to the Prat Airport in Barcelona-El (BCN), the Madrid-Barajas Airport (Mad) and Mia.
