azamara features another epic world cruise itinerary, and this one is currently one of the longest in the cruise industry.
The small ship cruise line announced Wednesday its longest world cruise in history departing in 2027. Travelers on this 188-night voyage will visit a whopping 103 destinations across five continents and 37 countries.
Azamara’s penchant for spending more days in port and staying overnight fits perfectly with a world cruise itinerary. During navigation, cruise ships will enjoy 50 overnight port calls and 15 overnight stays.

The world cruise will sail on the 702-passenger Azamara Quest and will offer travelers the opportunity to visit destinations around the world, including Japan, Tahiti, New Zealand, Thailand, Alaska and Sweden. The size of the ship provides an intimate experience and allows cruisers to access both major cruise ports and narrower waterways that larger ships cannot access. For example, on the world cruise, Azamara Quest will transit the Kiel Canal in Germany and sail to downtown Shanghai.
Known for catering to wealthy and affluent travelers, Azamara offers an intimate onboard atmosphere and itineraries that focus on immersive experiences. World Cruise 2027 will feature 12 exclusive and free AzAmazing Nights, allowing cruisers to explore iconic locations and cultural performances in port.
The world cruise begins in San Francisco on January 5, 2027, with several days at sea punctuated by port calls in Hawaii and French Polynesia.
From there, Quest will spend the rest of January visiting American Samoa and Tonga before beginning February with stops in Fiji and New Zealand (Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and others). Other February highlights include calls at Australian ports (such as Melbourne, Sydney and Kangaroo Island).
Travelers will spend the spring checking off a series of global experiences from their bucket lists. From March to April, visitors will visit Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan and South Korea, the ideal time for optimal cherry blossom viewing.

In May, Quest will sail Alaska’s Inside Passage, with stops in Sitka, Juneau and Ketchikan, before visiting Vancouver and Victoria in Canada. The ship will continue south to Mexico and Costa Rica before crossing the Panama Canal. It will then head to the east coast of North America in June before crossing the Atlantic to stop in Ireland and France.
The final segment of the world cruise will take guests across northern Europe (including the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Estonia, Finland and Sweden) before the voyage ends in Copenhagen on July 12, 2027.
If you don’t have 188 free vacation days, you can book one of the 12 shorter segments.
The Azamara World Cruise is currently open for bookings. Fares for the cruise start at $85,559 per person (based on double occupancy) for an inside cabin.

They include $8,500 in onboard credit, unlimited Wi-Fi, a free premium beverage package upgrade, and pre-cruise amenities like airfare credit, overnight hotel stay, transfers, and a $500 baggage refund (all valued at more than $40,000 per cabin, depending on the line).
