Miles wanderingA relatively new program in the loyalty space, kicks off its first Black Friday with a series of deals to help members earn bonus miles on hotels, everyday purchases and more.
What can you do with Rove miles? One option is to redeem them through Rove flight, and hotel booking platformwhere you can often get a value of 2 cents per mile or more. However, you can likely get even more value from your miles by transferring them to Rove’s 13 airline and hotel partners, including Air France-KLM Flying Blue and Finnair Plus.
How to earn more Rove miles this Black Friday? Let me count the shapes.
Rove Black Friday Deals
Rove’s Black Friday specials offer several ways to boost your mileage balance, but they’ll only be available on Friday, November 28, so start planning your purchases now.
- Earn tons of bonus miles on your first hotel booking through Rove: 500 bonus miles when you spend $100 with code “BLACKFRIDAY100,” 2,500 bonus miles when you spend $500 with code “BLACKFRIDAY500,” or 5,000 bonus miles when you spend $1,000 with code “BLACKFRIDAY1000.”
- Earn 10 miles (instead of 5 miles) for every dollar spent at hotels eligible for the loyalty program, where you can stack your Rove earnings with hotel points and elite night credits.
- Earn double miles when you shop at select merchants through the Rove Shopping portal: Nike, Macy’s, Sephora, Ulta, Adidas, Kohl’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Saks Off Fifth, Staples, Home Depot, Dell, StubHub, Walgreens, Newegg, Sony, Staples, Dyson, Groupon, Best Buy, British Airways, by purchasing Hyatt points, Temu, Shein, Chewy, Viator, Converse, Kate Spade, GetYourGuide, Ticketmaster, Caesars, MSC Cruises, Princess Cruises, Airalo, Eatwith and Luxury Escapes.
- Earn bonus miles on select gift cards purchased through giftcards.com: 5 miles per dollar spent on airline, Airbnb, and hotel gift cards, or 4 miles per dollar spent on Visa and Mastercard gift cards.
- Earn 3 miles for every dollar spent on flights booked through Rove.
The hotel bonus miles offer is exclusive to first-time hotel bookings, so if you’re new to Rove, now is a great time to set up an account. You can get 1000 bonus Rove miles just for joining TPG Referral Link.
And if you take advantage of the hotel bonus offer, don’t forget you’ll also earn Rove miles (and potentially hotel points) with your booking.
For example, you could book a two-night ski weekend at the Residence Inn by Marriott Steamboat Springs for $1,807 through Rove. You would earn 18,070 Rove miles (10 miles per dollar), plus 5,000 bonus miles, for a total of more than 23,000 Rove miles. On top of that, you would also earn Marriott Bonvoy points and Elite night credits toward Marriott status.

That’s more than enough Rove miles to book an overnight stay at the historic Hotel Boulderado.

If you’re not sure where your next trip will take you, it might make sense to buy a gift card that you know you’ll use later. For example, I love staying on Airbnb, but I don’t love that I typically can’t earn more than 2 points for every dollar spent on my vacation rental. With Rove’s Black Friday sale, I could purchase an Airbnb gift card for the amount I’ll need for my next ski weekend and earn an impressive 5 points per dollar spent. Or I could earn 4 points for every dollar spent on a Visa or Mastercard gift card to go toward my christmas shopping this year.
In a nutshell
Ready to rack up some Rove miles? Be sure to make your purchase on Friday, November 28 before these deals disappear. And if you’re new to Rove, join through this link to earn 1,000 bonus miles on top of your Black Friday earnings.
However, keep in mind that many hotels and other travel companies operate sales for Black Friday or Travel Tuesdayso it’s a good idea to compare prices between Rove’s platform and the company’s website. If you can get a significantly lower rate by booking direct, those savings could offset the extra rewards you’d earn through Rove.
