The Park Hyatt New York is located in the center of Manhattan on 57th Street between Sixta and Seventh avenues. This means that it is less than five minutes at the foot of Central Park about 10-15 minutes walk from the theater district around Times Square.
When he enters the hotel on 57th Street, he will walk towards an area of the ground floor full of light, marble, reflections and an elegant color palette that can be a bit disorienting at the beginning, but it is also quite great. It is probably not surprising that the atmosphere in Park Hyatt New York is usually one of the discreet elegance. At the nearby tables, commercial agreements are likely to be made, celebration drinks are served after one day in the city and some unique trips underway.
It is not a particularly suffocating environment, and I have never felt out of place with my children, but it is a solidly exclusive hotel.
Rooms at the Park Hyatt New York
I love Park Hyatt New York rooms. They are large and have excellent bathrooms, cleaning twice a day and spongy white bedding that exudes luxury. But this was the first time I had left in a terrace suite in a room, which literally led things to the next level with an amazing outdoor space.

While I have not seen this exact suite available to book with World of Hyatt Points, I have seen the premium suite of a room available from 70,000 Hyatt points, which is essentially the same as this suite … only without the area of the outdoor terrace.

Speaking of the outdoor terrace area, it is impressive and adequate to have some night cocktails outside with friends with their own private fire well.
Manhattan Suite
But if you think that is The next level (and is), wait until you look inside the Manhattan suite of Park Hyatt New York that allowed me to travel.
This is what they describe as a home from home (but maybe only if their home is In fact something).
This is a 2,000 square feet suite that has a large living room, the largest television I have seen outside a commercial space, a dining table for eight people, a complete kitchen, huge windows, a separate bedroom, and much more.
This Manhattan Suite is on the last floor of the hotel in a distance wing of essentially everything and all the others, except two Suites of Central Park balcony that you can connect with the Manhattan suite for an amazing 3,500 square feet suite and three rooms. And yes, they told me that I was actually reserved that way before by a family (fortunate).

Room King standard
These suites are incredible if the reservations, but do not worry in the least if you are “alone” in the market for a standard room. That is what I have stayed in the vast majority of my stays at the Park Hyatt New York, and it is also exceptional.

These rooms measure in 500-625 square feet, which is approximately double the size of many other standard rooms of the city. They also offer a rain shower and a marble bath, along with those bathrooms with heating that I adore.
