Skiing in Poiana Brasov
When winter comes, Romania transforms into a snowy paradise and Poiana Brașov is the ideal place for ski lovers. This resort is the most popular in the country and it is easy to see why. With well-groomed slopes, modern facilities and a variety of runs for different skill levels, Poiana Brașov is ideal for beginners and experienced skiers alike.
The resort has 12.4 kilometres of ski slopes, the longest of which is 4.6 kilometres long. If you’re new to skiing, don’t worry: there are plenty of ski schools and instructors available to help you get started. And after a long day on the slopes, you can relax in one of the cosy mountain lodges, enjoying traditional Romanian food and warm hospitality.
