
IHG Hotels & Resorts is expanding throughout the United Kingdom adding eight properties to its portfolio, from London to Leeds and beyond.
According to the hotel group, the eight newly signed hotels will add more than 900 rooms in different IHG brands, including Indigo Hotel and Crowne Plaza. The new hotels are based on the more than 360 properties that IHG currently operates throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.

“This growth is driven by our solid company that positions IHG as the first option for owners, as well as the guests we welcome, and the colleagues who work with us,” said Joanna Kurowska, vice president and IHG managing director for the United Kingdom and Ireland, in a statement. “From innovating our brands and the new hotels technology, to the increasing attraction of our IHG One Rewards Loyalty program, we continually seek to deepen the experiences of guests and deliver more businesses to our hotels.”
In London, IHG will add the new Holiday Inn Express London-Woolwich, which is expected to open into an office building converted with five floors into the Royal Borough of Greenwich, at the end of 2029. The property will have 265 rooms and will become a badge for Holiday Inn Express in London.
The opening will complement Voco London: Marylebone, which debuted last year with 93 rooms in the heart of one of the most elegant and vibrant neighborhoods in the city.

To the north of London, the IHG openings will include the new Indigo Leeds hotel with 107 totally renewed rooms (which will be inaugurated at the end of this year), the Garner Hotel Nottingham City Center (it is expected to be opened at the end of 2025) and the 104 -room vocat vocat (it is expected to be opened at the end of 2025).
This year, IHG also hopes to open the Crowne East Midlands airport of 114 rooms, of 114 rooms, and the Garner Hotel Reading Center of 53 rooms in a traditional house, and has already opened the Garner Hotel Preston Samlesbury in 80 rooms.
IHG operates more than a dozen different brands in its portfolio, from the Ultraluxurious Six Sensses brand to Kimpton Hotels, Indigo Hotel and even hotels. Recently acquired another hotel brand, Rubyalso. The company also operates its IHG One rewards loyalty program That is free to join.
