Currently, select Bank of America cards provide 15% cash back on purchases made directly with Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean or Silversea Cruises. Some American Express cards offer 5 points per dollar spent on voyages booked with AmaWaterways, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, as well as cash back on Norwegian Cruise Line voyages.

American Express Offers
Travelers looking to take a river cruise with AmaWaterways or set sail with luxury lines Oceania or Regent can earn 5 bonus points per dollar spent, on top of what they would normally earn, when they book directly with the cruise line and use their qualified Amex card. card. Although the most you can earn is only $150, that’s in addition to any other points, miles, or cash back you’d earn from the purchase.

If you choose not to pay for the full cruise at the time of booking, these offers only apply to the first transaction, which is often just a deposit. To maximize the bonus you will receive, consider paying in full or making a payment larger than the required deposit (which is usually about $250 per person, depending on the cruise line, with the final payment due a few months before sailing).
