Citi is launching a new premium rewards card. This is how I hope it is different from other high -end cards.

The year 2025 is emerging to be for premium rewards cards. And as a fan of these products, I love competition.

Citi will launch a new premium rewards credit card

And although no details about the benefits of the card were published, we do know that this is not Citi’s first incursion into the world of premium rewards credit cards.

Naturally, as with any new credit card, I expect a large welcome bonus. And although it could be a difficult task, I would really love that Citi now approaches some of the gaps that had the last time he had a patented premium rewards card.

Namely, it would be great to see that the card offers some type of room access and/or unique transfer partners that are difficult or impossible to replicate elsewhere. In addition, the Citi Thankyou Rewards program itself is a step behind competitors, especially for those who like to rely on airlines and hotels programs based in the US. UU. Finally, the implementation of some type of unique hotel benefit or a new travel benefit that other premium rewards cards that they do not offer would also help create a differentiated space for the Citi Strata Elite.
