Two of the largest airports in the New York city region are getting new non -scales to Bermuda.
Leisure Airline Bermudair will land at Laguardia Airport (LGA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in October, changing to the main airports of the city from the northern suburbs.
The Bermuda headquarters offered by exclusive and torments on board will begin flights from the LF Wade International Airport (BDA) of Bermuda to EWR on October 26, Bermudair said Thursday.
Three days later, he will debut BDA to LGA flights. And, on December 18, the new Bermudair subsidiary, DistressFlights twice a week will be released on Thursdays and Sundays from the Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (Axa) from Anguila to EWR.
Bermudair will serve EWR from BDA twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays, and will serve LGA twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The airline flies a mixture of E175 and E190 planes.
As part of the network shift, the carrier will end the service to the Westchester County Airport (HPN) near White Plains, New York (north of New York City) when their EWR and LGA flights begin.

“Expanding our service from the New York Area is an important step for Bermudair, which provides leisure travelers with corporate travelers more flexibility and convenient access to Bermuda,” said Adam Scott, founder and CEO of Bermudair, in a statement.
It is still not clear exactly how this smaller airline obtained access to two very coveted airports in Laguardia and Newark.

The take -off and landing rights are governed by slots, And the track times in EWR are equally competitive. Bermudair refused to say where he obtained the new LGA slots and the EWR track times necessary for these flights.
This expansion occurs in the midst of questions about the future of Bermudair. The BDA operator, Skyport, sued the airline in July for “millions of dollars” in unpaid airport rates, according to local reports.
Bermudair was launched in 2023 as a Total class airline Bermuda linking with American cities. Its strategy subsequently evolved to offer a more traditional double class on board in its four E175 and E190.

The airline network is in flow. In addition to the changes in the New York area, Bermudair ends the service to the Charleston International Airport (CHS) in South Carolina on October 26, and the Bradley International Airport (BDL) of Hartford, on December 14, the programming data of the Cirium aviation analysis firm. He finished flights to the Rhode Island TF Green International Airport (PVD) of Providence in July.
Bermudair currently does not have a loyalty program or participates in any program.
