The Hotel Collection requires a minimum two-night stay to use the credit.
You must book your stays at the included properties through Amex Travel and pay with your Amex Platinum card. You could even end up spending a night with half off (and, in some cases, almost nothing) once the statement credit arrives.

Hotels to book with your Amex Platinum credit
While there are plenty of hotels you can book in the Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection portfolios, some offer deep discounts and cost next to nothing once you add in the annual price. Vana Belle, a luxury collection resort, Koh Samui
Overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, Vana Belle, a Luxury Collection Resort in Koh Samui, offers explorations on one of Thailand’s most historic islands at your doorstep.
With average rates of $370 per night, your statement and experience credits can cover almost a night’s stay. When you’re not strolling along the white sand beach in front of the property, soaking in the infinity pool or enjoying another Thai massage, visit nearby attractions such as the Samui Elephant Sanctuary, the Wat Phra Yai Buddhist temple complex in a small offshore island or famous Chaweng Beach, a short taxi ride north.

The hotel occupies a mansion that is approximately 500 years old and is filled with hand-carved furniture, Latin American works of art (including pre-Inca pieces), and antiques.
These create a true sense of place along with the amenities you crave in a luxury stay. The rooms are painted in deep reds and ochers and decorated with ceramics and tiles, adding to the richness of the hotel’s atmosphere.

PGA National Resort
Spend some time in the South Florida sun playing golf or simply relaxing poolside when you check into the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, where you can choose from six championship golf courses to play.
Rooms start around $500, but can often be found for much less, especially on weekdays.
The resort’s spa offers unique ocean-inspired treatments, such as sea foam body wraps. You’ll also have plenty of pools to relax in here, with three in the mix.

The Las Vegas Cosmopolitan
At this popular Las Vegas hotel and casino in The Hotel Collection, average room rates are around $400 per night.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas pool scene is a favorite on the Las Vegas Strip, with a “Pool District” that includes three different experiences, including the adults-only Marquee Nightclub and Dayclub.

The Ritz-Carlton, Bali
One of the most spectacular properties on an island full of them, TPG recently found rates in the Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts collection for around $300 for junior suites at The Ritz-Carlton, Bali, where cliffside villas with private pools overlook to the ocean. in Nusa Dua. It’s a splurge, sure, but there’s a lot to love about this resort.
If you do just one thing on site, soak in the spa’s five hydrotherapy stations inside a tropical greenhouse.

Casa de Campo Resort & Villas
The Dominican Republic is one of the most accessible Caribbean getaways. And if you like to play golf, you can leave the crowds of Punta Cana behind with a stay at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, an Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts property along the island’s southern coast, home to three award-winning courses .
Please note that renovations recently began on the golf courses; They will be inaccessible until the end of 2025 (subject to change).
We found nights for less than $570 in superior casitas. Three Pete Dye-designed golf courses make Casa de Campo a favorite among golf fans, and there’s also an equestrian center and marina on site where you can take deep-sea fishing excursions.

Canopy by Hilton Cancun La Isla
With rates consistently around or below the $200 mark (TPG recently found a room for just $149 a night), this city hotel overlooking Nichupté Lagoon in Cancun, Mexico, may not be on the beach, but it’s still thus offers many excellent amenities.
Part of The Hotel Collection, Canopy by Hilton Cancún La Isla has a rooftop pool and is directly connected to the nightlife and restaurants of La Isla Entertainment Village.

William Gray Hotel
Also in The Hotel Collection, the Hotel William Gray in Montreal shows rates around $355 and offers an elegant stay near Place Jacques-Cartier and the Old Port of Montreal.
The rooftop bar, Terrasse William Gray, has fabulous views of the St. Lawrence River and heaters that turn on when temperatures drop.
TPG Tip: Use your experience credit to access the William Gray Spa facilities, which require an additional fee. Facilities include a hot and cold thermal experience with a Himalayan salt room, Finnish sauna, experiential showers, cold room, herbal sauna and seasonal outdoor pool.
