Aer lingus

Indianapolis and Nashville to Dublin

These routes normally do not stand out as candidates for a “more exciting list.” But the new 2025 routes of the Irish carrier are notable since they are operating with their new Airbus A321xlr, a narrow body jet with particularly long -range. Look for longer and thinner routes that will be added in the coming years as more operators become operators of the A321xlr.

If you are a fan of unusual airline routes, this new flight from Allegiant Air is as dark as they come. But it highlights the type of market niche that Allegiant has cultivated this century: expanding to small airports with little or no commercial airline service on the outskirts of larger meters. And, spoiler alert: They come more.

Alaska Airlines (and Hawaiian Airlines)

Seattle to Tokyo

Seattle to Tokyo is not an innovative route. But, when it is the first long distance route abroad of its airline, as it was for Alaska Airlines, it attracts additional attention. Alaska operated this flight for the first time with the Airbus A330 of Hawaiian Airlines of the fusion, but this will eventually fly in the Boeing 787 Dreamliners art, first with Hawaiian’s free, but finally with Alaska.

And be attentive. The carrier is preparing soon to present a Completely new flagship international experience While placing a dozen long distance routes in Seattle in the coming years.

American Airlines

Carlsbad, California, to Phoenix

Earlier this year, American became the only important airline brand that operates from the McClellan -Palomar de California (CLD) airport, located about 35 miles north of San Diego. While Carlsbad may not be the new “exciting” destination for an airline, he underlines the strategy of Americans to force market niche without direct competition of their main rivals. Other recent similar additions include the municipal airport of Utah (PVU) and Cape Cope Gateway (HYA) airport in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

Miami south of Caicos in the Turks and Caicos

When he launched this route earlier this year, American became the only important airline at the airport, which otherwise only has small regional operators that fly inside the Turks and Caicos. Historically, US travelers flying to the Turks and the Caicos have had to fly to the largest International Providencial Airport (PLS). It is not coincidence, the unique service of the new island of American will connect travelers with a new Marriott Bonvoy resort that made our list of The most exciting hotel openings in 2025.

Philadelphia to Edimburg, Scotland

It was not a long time ago that some industry observers wondered if the philadelphia days were told as an important international center for Americans. Leave those doubts aside. American has returned its New York transatlantic approach to Philadelphia, which can tell this route to Scotland, as well as to the service to Milan as proof.

We should take into account: Philly will also get international service, next month, with the airline New flagship suites In his Boeing 787-9P Dreamliner

Cape air

Boston to Islip, New York

An unlikely candidate for our list, Cape Air takes this place more for the “Palace Intrigue” than anything else. When Jetblue abruptly finished this route less than two weeks after starting, Long Island’s connection with Boston seemed lost. Cape Air said that it is not so, announcing his own Turbo-Proprope service on the route to help partially filling the discontinued link of Jetblue.

Delta airlines

New York to Sicily

Sicily has triggered popularity in recent years, thanks in large part to White Lotus, but there has not been a regular non -scales flight from the United States to this Italian island. That changed this summer when both Delta and United added service to Sicily. Delta announced his new Route First, presenting service to the city of Catania less than Sicily.

Neos

New York to Bari, Italy

Those who sought an unusual destination received an impulse with the new service of this Italian carrier to the Puglia region of Italy, an area known for its proximity to the Adriatic Sea, the delicious food and historical medieval architecture. Neos states that the route is the first non -scales between the United States and Bari Karol Wojtyła (BRI) airport, the capital of the Puglia region of Italy.

United Airlines

Newark to Bilbao, Spain

A long time ago promoted as one of the submarine destinations of Europe, Bilbao has generally been difficult to achieve for US travelers. That changed this summer when United launched the Boeing 757 season of Newark.

Newark to Madeira, Portugal

Long-popular with European vacationers, this island off the coast of the northwest coast of Africa is known by the wine, the resistant volcanic scenario and a disconcerting set of climates. It had been difficult for most Americans to arrive, until United began non -stop flights from Newark.

Newark A Nuuk, Greenland

A main candidate for “Route of the Year”, the new Nuuk United service, Greenland, dominated the headlines of aviation in early June. As expected, TPG was aboard the historical inaugural flight, the first regular service of an American carrier to Greenland.

Tokyo to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Another main candidate for the “Route of the Year” could almost cut and paste the previous text for Greenland for the new United Mongolia service. However, unlike the United Greenland service, this new service does not come from the United States, but from the center of United at Tokyo Narita Airport (NRT). The single service is available in several US cities. And yes, TPG was also aboard this inaugural flight.

Washington to Dakar, Senegal

United chose to reinforce its Washington center at the Dulles International Airport (IAD) with a new service to Senegal. Although the new routes to South Africa and Morocco have generated the most in recent years, this new United Africa Western Africa Service stands out among the new 2025 routes so far.
