Phuket has no shortage of resorts, but for this trip, after spending a few days in the busier areas of the island, I wanted to end my stay somewhere quieter where I could enjoy sea views while staying at a pool, so I booked Sinae Phuketa boutique resort that features 64 villas with private pools, each with full or partial ocean views in Siray Islandjust 10-15 minutes drive from Phuket town and about 45-50 minutes drive from Phuket International Airport.
Sinae is located on a hill overlooking the Andaman Sea, surrounded by greenery and open sky. The resort seems quiet and a little hidden, almost like a secret corner of Phuket. I’m honestly surprised more people aren’t talking about this place, it deserves a lot more attention than it gets.
Key takeaways:
- Sinae Phuket is located in Koh Siray Islandon the east side of Phuket, connected by road and only 10 or 15 minutes from Phuket Old Town.
- The complex has 64 villas with private pooland most of them offer direct views of the sea.
- the best is book directly through their websitesince they usually have good monthly promotions.
- Hilltop Cafe It is one of the highlights of the property. It is located at the top of the hill and serves starbucks coffeemaking it one of the nicest places in Phuket to enjoy a coffee with a view.
- Since the complex is built on a hill, buggies They are necessary to move.
- There are not many local restaurants available near the property, but food can be ordered from local apps like Grab or Line Man.
Check-in and accommodation process
The standard check-in time is 3:00 pm, but my pool villa was ready earlier, so I was able to check in around 1:20 pm. The process was simple: I was greeted with a welcome drink and the reception staff were friendly and efficient. Once everything was done, I was taken by buggy to my room. Due to the mountainous terrain, walking around the resort is not ideal, but the buggies arrive quickly when you call them.
I booked the Villa with pool in the skywhich I found to be one of your best options after searching on different booking sites. The villa is spacious, with a private infinity pool facing the sea. The bed is located right in front of the pool and waking up to that view every morning is easily the best part of the stay. The bathroom is well designed, with quality toiletries and a large bathtub.

The minibar is free and includes some snacks along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It’s a small gesture but it increases overall comfort. The villa feels private, quiet and perfectly located for anyone who wants to relax without distractions.
The resort also has its own mobile applicationwhich makes everything more convenient. I can use it to reserve carts, order food, or book a spa session right from my phone. It’s simple, fast and works very well.
Sind Spa
Another highlight of my stay in Sinae Phuket is Sind Spa. It is located at the top of the hill, about two or three minutes by buggy from my villa. The spa’s interiors reflect Thai design: lots of wood, bamboo textures and large glass windows that open to sea views.
Sindh Spa feels different from most spas I’ve visited in Thailand. It’s small, private, and has limited availability, so it’s best to book in advance. There are few massage tables and demand is quite high, which makes the experience more personal and calm.

I chose the Thai aromatic massagewhich begins with warm oil gently poured all over the body, followed by slow, deep movements that relax every muscle. The aroma of the oils and the calm atmosphere make it incredibly relaxing. After the massage, I took a quick shower and walked to the common pool right outside the spa.
The pool is not very big, but it faces the sea and the view is beautiful. It’s rarely crowded, probably because most villas in Sinae already have private pools with sea views, so guests prefer to stay in their own space. Sitting there with a towel and herbal tea, looking over the water, feels like a quiet reward after the massage.
Hilltop Café: a favorite among locals and tourists
Hilltop Cafe It is easily one of the best cafes I have been to in Phuket. It is located right at the top of the complex and getting there means a short buggy ride from the villa. The trip is worth it: once you arrive, you are greeted with a 270 degree view of the Andaman Sea that looks spectacular at any time of the day.
if you are a Starbucks lover, this cafe in phuket It is a must see. Sinae is proud to serve Starbucks coffee here, and it’s probably the most picturesque place in Phuket to enjoy it. In addition to coffee, the cafe also offers a mix of international and thai dishesso you can have brunch or light snacks while enjoying the view.

The atmosphere feels open and relaxed, a mix of locals who come for coffee and guests who stay to take in the view. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend an hour doing nothing but staring at the horizon.
Dining options
Options to eat around Sinae Phuket are quite limited since the hotel is located in Siray Islandaway from the main tourist areas. Most guests dine in the hotel restaurant. Sai Bistro and Bar or order food through delivery apps like Grab either line man.

The hotel offers a daily complimentary breakfast of 6:00 am to 10:30 am at Sai Bistro & Bar.
