In recent years, Vero Beach has been constantly growing its commercial air services portfolio after being mainly a general aviation airport. That began thanks to Breeze Airways, who First added service from Vero Beach To Hartford, Connecticut, and then returned to balance with a great expansion that now includes seven northeast airport destinations. In fact, Vero Beach has become the home of an operational base for the breeze.
Perhaps the most established airlines are now trying to rain in the Breeze parade. Only last month, Jetblue announced that would begin flights to Vero Beach from Boston and New York in December. And now, American is giving the city its first connection with an important network center with the flights to Charlotte.
