Let’s be honest: airport hotels can be a mixed bag. First, they are not necessarily places where want be. Whether you go or go, they are a means to an end and not the destination itself. Sometimes we find ourselves in airport hotels by choice, to get some sleep before catching an early morning flight. And sometimes we are there because of travel problems, like a dreaded canceled flight.
Either way, it’s worth noting that not all airport hotels are created equal. Most of us probably think of drab hotels that require a shuttle to get to. But the truth is, there are plenty of incredible airport hotels in the US and Canada that offer runway views perfect for plane watching, stylish rooms that feel like a real respite from the hectic airport, and even hotels with great bars and restaurants.
Best of all, some of them are actually attached. to the airport, making traveling easier, more comfortable and… wait for it… relaxing.
