Exclusive: A new Kimpton just opened in New York’s famous Rockefeller Center, and it doesn’t get much better than its city views

The real stars of the show are the rooms’ views, with Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building and One World Trade Center visible in the distance, depending on where guests are located.

Dining at Kimpton Era Midtown consists of four Apicii concepts, two of which are now open: The Parlor, a café-turned-bar open all day, and Bar Rocco, a brasserie overlooking Rockefeller Plaza and Italian-American dishes from celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito. Later this year, Amasa, a Latin steakhouse from chef Christopher Leffl, and Jade Rabbit, a rooftop izakaya with 360-degree views of the city, will open at the hotel.

Guests are also invited to join Kimpton’s evening social hour to enjoy a complimentary beverage.

The hotel features a state-of-the-art 24-hour fitness center with cardio equipment, Peloton bikes, yoga mats, and more. This Kimpton joins a handful of others in New York City, including a new property on Park Avenueas well as locations in Times Square and Chelsea.
