Starting January 1, 2026, Bilt Rewards Members will start earning Bilt Cash. So what exactly is this new currency?
Bilt Cash is a new rewards currency within the Bilt ecosystem. You’ll earn $50 in Bilt Cash every time you earn 25,000 Bilt points and can redeem Bilt Cash for a fixed value at local Bilt Network merchants (specifically, $10 of Bilt Cash is worth $10 at Bilt Network merchants).
Bilt Cash will launch in the new year to replace the milestone rewards program. In 2024, Bilt added milestone rewards for every 25,000 points members earn within a calendar year. However, many Bilt Rewards members did not find these rewards particularly attractive.

How to Earn and Redeem Bilt Cash
Bilt Cash is earned in addition to your regular Bilt points. You’ll receive $50 in Bilt Cash every time you earn 25,000 Bilt points, and it will be available for use immediately after you reach that milestone.
You can start spending Bilt Cash starting in February 2026 at a variety of places and experiences within the Bilt ecosystem.
According to Bilt, examples include:
- Cash withdrawal when using mobile payment service for meals
- Hotels in Bilt Travel Portal
- fitness classes
- Home orders
- One-time access to Elite status benefits for Blue and Silver members, such as upgraded status for a Rental day transfer bonus, early access to an experience or access to Home Away From Home

Bilt also notes that Bilt Cash is “designed to grow alongside our expanding ecosystem of local merchants.” So expect additional ways to earn and redeem Bilt Cash over time, including “exclusive experiences and unique access to elite benefits.”
And don’t worry: Bilt points and the value you can get when you redeem them with the Bilt Transfer Partners – are here to stay. Bilt Cash is a new reward currency that you will earn in addition to points, offering fixed value purchasing power for everyday purchases, while points remain your main tool to high value travel redemptions and partner transfers.
With the launch of Bilt Cash, what happens to existing milestone rewards?
Bilt confirmed that any milestone rewards you claim before the end of 2025 will remain active until they expire or you have earned the maximum points for that milestone reward. However, unused milestone rewards will expire at the end of 2025, so be sure to claim any rewards you’ve earned before the end of the year.
In a nutshell
Although the Bilt Cash earning rate is relatively low, just 0.2 cents per point, and you must meet specific thresholds to earn Bilt Cash, it is still a welcome addition to the Bilt ecosystem, as members will earn Bilt Cash in addition to points.
This added bonus can save members real money with merchants operating within the Bilt network.
