Select your airline to get a $200 fare statement credit and 35% bonus
one of the best Amex Business Platinum advantages is your credit on airline fare statement up to $200 in fees from the qualified airline you select each calendar year (registration required). You can use this credit for anything from checked baggage fees to airline lounge passes.
It is important to note that you must select your airline to receive the credit. To do this, simply go to amex website and choose from the list of eligible airlines.
After making your selection, you’ll also receive a 35% airline bonus when you use Pay with Points. This is when you choose to redeem your Membership Rewards points to pay for all, or a portion, of an eligible flight through American Express Travel.

You are only eligible to receive points when you book with your pre-selected qualifying airline and are limited to a maximum of 1 million points per calendar year.
While you are technically limited to the airline you select for the entire calendar year, you may be able to change your selection by contacting customer service. Generally, you will only be able to change airlines if you have not yet used these benefits this year.

Enroll in business-related statement credits
He Amex Business Platinum presents multiple credits on the statement aimed at business owners. You’ll want to sign up for these to start earning statement credits for your purchases.
To sign up for these statement credits, log into your American Express account and select “enroll” for each benefit.
- Adobe: Up to $250 in statement credits after you spend $600 or more on US purchases made directly from Adobe (July 1 – December 31, 2025 and each calendar year thereafter; subject to automatic renewal)*
- Dell: Up to $1,150 in total statement credits: Up to $150 in statement credits each calendar year on U.S. purchases made directly from Dell, plus up to $1,000 in statement credits after you spend $5,000 or more at Dell (July 1 through December 31, 2025, and each calendar year thereafter)*
- Indeed: Up to $360 in statement credits per calendar year; allocated up to $90 per calendar quarter*
- Wireless telephone services: Up to $120 in statement credits per calendar year for US services, allocated up to $10 per month*

Additionally, it’s worth noting that if your business spends $250,000 on eligible purchases in one calendar year, you’ll unlock these credits for use in the following calendar year:
- Up to $1,200 in statement credits for flights booked through Amex Travel
- Up to $2,400 in statement credits for American Express One AP payments
These are potentially lucrative and worth considering if you run a high-spending business.

Apply for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck
Frequent business travelers will appreciate that the Amex Business Platinum provides a statement credit to cover your Global Entry or the TSA PreCheck app.
You will receive up to $120 for a Global Entry application every four years, or up to $85 for PreCheck every 4½ years.

It’s your best option to go ahead and apply for Global Entry, since TSA PreCheck is included in that program.
You do not need to register with Amex to receive this statement credit. Instead, you’ll simply apply for the program of your choice and pay with your Amex Business Platinum. You can then expect the statement credit to post automatically.

Enroll in Clear Plus
Another solid benefit that business travelers can make the most of with their Amex Business Platinum is he Clear Plus Statement Credit.
First, you will need to sign up for this benefit on the Amex website. Then, you’ll receive up to $209 in statement credits for Clear Plus each calendar year, which translates to a completely free membership (subject to automatic renewal).
Clear Plus members receive access to a dedicated lane at Transportation Security Administration checkpoints with Clear. Then you simply enter your biometric data at a kiosk and move on. This can be a great time saver.

Plan a stay with Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection
He Amex Business Platinum added a credit to the hotel statement with its 2025 updateSo new cardholders will want to start planning a trip to make sure they get the most out of it.

Cardholders receive up to $600 in statement credits per calendar year (earned up to $300 semi-annually) on prepaid services. American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection reservations with Amex Travel when you pay with your Amex Business Platinum (Hotel Collection stays require a two-night minimum).
FHR and THC stays include multiple elite benefits, including complimentary breakfast, room upgrades (when available), and more.
This profit models the profit in the American Express Platinum® Card and is potentially lucrative for business owners who travel frequently.

Sign up for elite status at Hilton, Leading Hotels of the World and Marriott
You will receive elite status at three hotel chains when you become a Amex Business Platinum card holder.
You must enroll with each chain to receive benefits. Here’s what you can expect to receive:

Priority Pass grants the cardholder and two guests access to more than 1,800 airport lounges worldwide.
Once you sign up through the Amex website, you can expect to receive your Priority Pass card in the mail within 4 to 6 weeks.
