Whether you travel with a large group or want a spacious kitchen where you can cook for your family, there are many reasons to choose a vacation rental in a traditional hotel room. From this week, Chase card holders have a new reason to stay in a vacation rental: the ability to win or exchange Chase Ultimate Rewards Points for reservation through the vacation house program through Chase Travel℠.
Currently, only card holders with Freedom or Ink have access to the vacation vacation program, but Chase is expanding the program to include CHASE SAPPHIRE Reserve® Card holders from July.
This is what you need to know about this new travel program.

Details of the Chase Vacation Homes program
For those who already have access to the option of vacation houses, Chase Travel now offers the ability to choose between thousands of cabins, villas, cabins, beach houses, condominiums and apartments in destinations worldwide. When you log in to pursue trips and choose an eligible card, you must see the option to search “hotels” or “vacation houses.”
For test purposes, we are looking for vacation rentals in Boston in early August. For each search result, we saw multiple images of the property, the type of rent (apartment, etc.), how many guests could accommodate, the night price and the price all in Cash and Chase Ultimate Rewards points.
You will also see in the search results a map view that you can use to reduce your search to a specific part of the city or have a better idea where the properties you are seeing are. There is an option to filter the results of your search to see only accommodations with certain comforts, such as Internet, physical conditioning facilities, parking in the place and more.
Who is eligible to reserve the holiday houses of Chase?
Currently, only selected card holders will see the vacation house option when they log in to Chase Travel. This includes those with the following cards:

How much can you win?
Freedom and ink card holders can earn final rewards points for using vacation houses at the same rate as the flight reservation or hotels. For freedom card holders, that means 5% cash refund on trips bought through Chase Travel. If you have one of the CHASE INK BUSINESS Cards, your profit rate (if any) will vary according to the card you have.
When the personal and visiting cards of Chase Sapphire Reserve enter the Redile in July, those cards will earn 8 points per dollar spent on Chase travel purchases. For the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, it is a drop of 2 points per dollar from the previous profit rate, but Chase expects some of the other new advantages of the card to attract it.
End
Now that Chase is entering the vacation rental business, travelers can book apartments, condominiums, beach houses and other types of accommodation through the Chase’s travel portal, and win points while doing so.
