When you imagine a typical glamping configuration, you can imagine large tents perched on wooden platforms between the pines, located between the mountain peaks or nearby National Parks.
However, an elegant glamping resort along the Athenian Riviean of Greece presents a new type of store of tents hotel: luxury coastal cabins equipped with all the elegant furniture and comfort that one would expect from a high -end hotel.
This is what is staying in 91 Athens Riviera, one of the newest and most exciting properties in the area.

What is 91 Athens Riviera?
Operated by the Hotel Domes brand, which has a collection of luxury resorts in Greece and Portugal, 91 Athens Riviera opened in mid -2014 and was part of a harvest of new hotels in the section of 37 miles of coast Where to go in 2025.
The property is located in a charming suburb named Vaula, about 30 minutes by car from the city center. A taxi of the Athens International Airport (ATH), which is less than 15 miles from the complex, will cost approximately 25 to 35 euros, or around $ 28 to $ 40. There are Uber in Athens, but keep in mind that when you use the Uber application to request a car, you will only ask for a local taxi licensed for you.
From the moment I drove through the closed entrance, it was clear that 91 Athens Riviera celebrates the natural splendors of Greece, with Mediterranean flora and fauna, and, of course, the brilliant Aegean Sea, taking the center of the stage.
Beyond the reception, the lobby presented many seats and an interesting mixture of textures and patterns, from bright marble floors to an artistic mahogany wall to turquoise seats. An elegant wooden bar and Marmola sat under the orb -shaped lamps, and through doors on both sides of the bar, the guests could go out to an outdoor seat area overlooking the property lagoon, which was surrounded by a generosity of reeds and olive trees.

On the property, guests could spend days between their accommodations, the ocean -oriented pool and the private beach, or enjoy treatments in the spa in situ. There were also many ways to stay active, including private tennis courts and a well -equipped and illuminated gym (more about that below).
How much does 91 Athens Riviera cost and how to reserve it?
After verifying the calendar for the rest of 2025, it looks like the lowest nocturnal rates for the base level accommodations, the couples starts in around $ 445 in November (shoulder season), while the rates are $ 1,100 in summer.
While property is part of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, it still doesn’t seem to be one of the Mr. and Mrs. Smith Properties Bookable using Hyatt points – But we hope that changes in the future.
Rooms in 91 Athens Riviera
There are 28 tents in five types of rooms in 91 Athens Riviera: couples cabana, couples cabin with immersion pool, accessible cabin with immersion pool, two bedroom cabin with immersion pool and family cabin with immersion pool.
I stayed in the two bedroom cabin with a category of immersion pool, which offered a lot of space to spread (462 square feet to be exact). With a cozy olive tree on the front, the entrance of the cabin was wrapped in lush bushes. A small staircase led to a wooden cover with two white chairs on each side of a small table, and then a set of boxes in front of a circular pool. (Note that although they are surrounded by vegetation, the outdoor spaces of the cabins are not exactly private, since the accommodations are relatively together and near the main road of walk).

With the toppoons drawn on both sides of the glass entrance, there was a lot of sunlight in the store, which presented a very comfortable King-Tamaño bed with crispy white bedding with a wooden head. Two modern velvet chairs and Funky sat on both sides of a black coffee table, in front of a cabinet that had a Nespresso coffee machine, sandwiches and a minibar (for a rate).

The bathroom, which had a separate washing closet for the toilet and a rain shower, was a marble space in a bad mood between the main bedroom and a smaller bedroom with two twin beds and a large arched window (this would be an ideal type of cabin for families or groups of friends). The dressing articles were from a local brand, Naxos Acechecary.

The reflexive and modern design elements throughout the store included an asnouline coffee table book centered on Greece, a marshall speaker and world -shaped lamps. There was a lot of space in the closet in the main bedroom, which contained a steam (I always feel relieved to find a vaporizer instead of a iron), as well as robes, shoes, a safe bag and a laundry bag and many hangers. A flat screen TV hung on the left on velvet chairs, ideal to watch a movie at bedtime.

There was also air conditioning inside, which seemed easy to control from a small digital unit mounted on the wall.
What I ate in 91 Athens Riviera
During my time in Greece, I noticed that most of the kitchen was both incredibly simple, in terms of ingredients, but very tasty. This was a line through each dish that I tried in 91 Athens Riviera.
The hotel has a main restaurant, Barbarrowhich has a spacious and airy interior seat area, as well as an outdoor area oriented to the ocean covered by a pergola.

For breakfast, which is served to the letter in Barbarossa and included in the night room rate, I enjoyed a tray of delicious local cakes along with fresh Greek yogurt with homemade granola and dried fruits.
At dinner, after eating homemade bread with organic olive oil and olives ($ 4), the server advised me to try the “islands” ($ 26), which consisted of the sweetest Cherry tomatoes that I have ever tried with a soft cheese and nut of the stop island (it was the best thing I attended in the entire trip).
After my tomato start, I enjoyed Linguine Vongole Fresco ($ 43), paste with clams, which is one of my favorite things to order on a holiday on the beach. The clams were as fresh as I expected, and the pasta, expensive to the dente, was served with a tasty and buttery sauce and covered with delicate fried leeks that completed the plate.
Of course, I could not come to Greece and jump with Baklava fresh ($ 28).
Sflaky, sweetly and deliciously crazy, this was the cherry, or pistachio, above a beautiful dinner.

- The solar bed on the beach and in the main pool are complementary.
- The room service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Those who travel with small pets can request bowls, balls, pet pillows, a strap, flags and bag dispensers.
- Soma Spa has eight calm treatment rooms, a hydraulic pool, a physio room, a sauna, a jacuzzi, a Turkish style hymam and a quiet relaxation area. There is also a pool with outdoor heating next to the spa. Custom treatments, from massage to facial and bodily wrapping, incorporate old Greek traditions and use high -end brand products and technology such as Elemis, Augustinus Bader, is the clinical and code Paris.
- The academic air of Athness Fitness of Window includes a large cardio and weight equipment, as well as a room for personal training services and group classes (think: yoga dawn, pilates and circuit training fully body).

But if you feel like a vagabund, the complex is a few steps from several cities and attractions that are worth it.
- The small town of Voula has only 5 minutes by car or about 30 minutes on foot and offers many stores, restaurants and proximity to the local beaches (although I preferred the private beach in the resort).
- Talk to the janitor on organizing dinner in Makris, a Michelin star restaurant operated by domes in Athens, directed by chef Peter Dimas. Opt for a seat outside, where you will have a direct view of the acropolis.
- The coastal city of Glyfada, the unofficial capital of the Athenian Rivera, is about 10-15 minutes by car and offers luxury boutiques, outdoor coffees, cinemas, farmers’ markets, lush side streets, the beautiful Cathedral of Agiou Konstantinou and much more.
- Also only 10 minutes by car is Lake VauliagmeniA natural sanctuary famous for its thermal waters.
- At the southern end of the attic peninsula, you will find Souium, home of the Poseidon temple of the 5th century. C. A trip here (approximately 30 minutes by car) promises perhaps the best view at sunset in the region, and the conserve of the complex can organize a VIP tour.
Accessibility in 91 Athens Riviera
The complex has two accessible accommodations with access to ramps and modified bathrooms for guests with special needs.
In terms of the facilities, most catwalks are wide and flat, although there are some gravel areas that could be difficult to maneuver a wheelchair. I did not notice a pool elevator in the primary or spa pools.
The complex asks anyone who has accessibility to contact them before booking.

The creative minds in Domes certainly changed the concept of glamping in their head with this elegant and exclusive resort of tents. With its enviable location in the Aegean Sea, it is an ideal place for calling home during a relaxing holiday on the beach, while it still feels close to the emotion and cultural emotions of Athens.
