He World of Hyatt Business Credit Card Chase offers some interesting benefits aimed at small business owners who are loyal to Hyatt. If you have an excellent credit score of 670 or higher and are focused on earning Hyatt World points and status, this could be a good card for you.
The Hyatt Business card lacks some of the features we normally expect from hotel credit cardssuch as status beyond the lowest level and free night certificates on your account anniversary. However, it offers a powerful set of advantages for business owners who are interested in spending for profit. If you can take advantage of these spending-based benefits, the card easily justifies its $199 annual fee. Otherwise, this card may not be a long-term guarantee for you.

New candidates for World of Hyatt Business Credit Card You can earn 60,000 points after spending $5,000 within the first three months of account opening. Plus, they’ll win a free night (valid for one Category 1-4 property) after spending $15,000 within the first six months after account opening.
TPG January 2025 ratings set World of Hyatt points at 1.7 cents each, making the bonus points worth an impressive $1,020. Additionally, since the free night certificate with this offer can be redeemed for up to 18,000 points, the value increases to $1,326, which is potentially the most valuable bonus never offered on this card.
This card is subject to the Chase standard. application rules — although opening a World of Hyatt Business card will not increase your Chase 5/24 count.

He World of Hyatt Business Credit Card offers several key benefits:
- Possibility of obtaining a 10% exchange bonus: If you and your employees collectively spend at least $50,000 in a calendar year, you’ll earn 10% bonus points on a total of 200,000 World of Hyatt points to redeem for free night rewards, Points + Cash stays, upgrades room, dining and spa services and FIND experiences for the remainder of the calendar year
- Discoverer status for you and up to five employees: As the primary account holder, you’ll automatically receive Discoverist status in World of Hyatt and earn five Discoverist Upgrade awards, which you can gift to employees.
- Earn stay credits toward status by spending: You will receive five tier qualifying night credits for every $10,000 you spend each calendar year.
- Hyatt Leverage Membership: You’ll receive a complimentary Hyatt Leverage membership, which includes discounts on standard room rates at all participating Hyatt hotels of up to 15%.
- No foreign transaction fees
- Up to $100 in Hyatt credits annually: Earn a $50 statement credit when you use your card to spend $50 or more at Hyatt hotels and resorts (up to twice a year for a total of $100 in annual credits)
Again, it’s disappointing to not see a higher level of elite status or a free night certificate in this list of benefits. Still, those who regularly stay at Hyatt properties will benefit from Hyatt credit and Hyatt Leverage membership. And if your small business spends enough with this card, you’ll enjoy an easier path to status and a 10% redemption bonus.

Earn points with the World of Hyatt business credit card
like a The Hyatt Business World cardholder, you’ll earn up to 9 points per dollar on Hyatt stays. You’ll earn 4 points for every dollar spent at Hyatt hotels, plus up to 5 Hyatt base points for being a World of Hyatt member. You will be eligible for these earning rates at FIND Experiences We booked through Hyatt as well.
Additionally, cardholders can earn 2 points per dollar spent on club and gym membership purchases.
This card also has a unique adaptive accelerator benefit that allows cardholders to earn 2 points per dollar spent on their top three of eight eligible spending categories each calendar quarter without limit. Categories include:
Point earning rates automatically adjust to the categories you spend the most in each quarter, so there’s no need to select your preferred categories. Beyond your bonus categories, you’ll earn 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases.
While this stands out as one of the few cards that earn bonus points for gym memberships, you’ll find plenty of other cards that have better earning structures for the other bonus categories. If you’re not focused on reaping the benefits that come with spending a lot on this card, your best bet will be to use it in conjunction with other cards to maximize your bonus-earning potential.

Redeem Points on the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card
As expected from a co-branded hotel card, the best use of World of Hyatt points you’ll get in the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card It is to cover stays in Hyatt Properties. You can do this by covering your entire stay, covering part of your stay with points through Hyatt’s “Points + Cash” rate option, or using points to upgrade a paid stay.
One of the best things about the World of Hyatt program is that it still uses a published prize tableso you can plan ahead how many points you’ll need for a stay. However, each category has different rates for standard, peak and off-peak dates.
To make the most of your points, use them at the high or low end of the rewards table.
TPG Senior Content Director summer helmet You prefer to stay on the higher end, getting great value for your points by using them to stay at Hyatt resorts or city properties that would otherwise be out of your budget. Conversely, you can maximize your points by staying at the lower end of the prize table. With options as low as 3500 points, I prefer to stay in Category 1 Hyatt Properties when I can to stretch my stitches as much as possible.
You also have the option to redeem your World of Hyatt points for Avis intermediate rental cars for 6,000 points per day, use them for dining, spa or meeting credits at Hyatt properties, redeem them for FIND experiences, or transfer them to some airline programs. However, you will generally get a lower price than in January 2025. valuation 1.7 cents per point with these redemption options, so we recommend using your points to cover Hyatt stays when possible.

What cards compete with the World of Hyatt business credit card?

Is the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card Worth It?
By using the two Hyatt statement credits on your World of Hyatt Business Credit Cardyou’ll get a value of $100, which will reduce the effective annual fee to $99. Gifting Discoverist status to five other people is a useful feature, but deciding whether this justifies the cost is up to you. The lack of an annual free night certificate and high-level spending requirements suggest another card might offer better value.
