Currently, the United Business offers 75,000 bonus miles after you spend $5,000 on eligible purchases in the first three months of account opening. The United Club Business card offers 50,000 bonus miles and 1,000 PQP after you spend $5,000 in the first three months of account opening.

THE TYPE OF THE POINTS

75,000 and 50,000 United miles are worth $1,013 and $675, respectively, according to TPG as of January 2025. ratings. That number of miles could be enough for award tickets in domestic economy or one-way tickets in a premium cabin from United or its partners.

Those with the United Club Business card get a free first and second checked bag for themselves and one companion on the same reservation purchased with the card (up to $360 in value).

Cardholders can use the airline’s Premier Access services, including designated security and check-in lanes, priority boarding and baggage handling. They also receive 25% cash back on inflight purchases of food, beverages, Wi-Fi and expanded award availability, which can save them tens of thousands of miles annually.

These are useful benefits, but the most valuable benefit of United Club Business is free United Club membership. Includes access to United Club airport lounges, select Star Alliance lounges, and up to two guests (or one adult and any child) when flying with United and its partners. This benefit alone is worth between $550 and $650 per year and is probably the most important reason to get this card.

Finally, both cards can help you with a modest boost towards Premier elite status with United. For every $500 you spend on purchases per calendar year, you earn 25 PQP, up to 1,000 PQP per year.
